Junaid Khan, the son of Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta, has marked his entry into Bollywood with the release of his debut film, “Maharaj,” now available on Netflix.
The film’s launch took many by surprise, as Junaid announced it with little prior notice. His performance has received significant praise from both audiences and critics, leading to a celebratory event hosted by his parents.
To honor the success of “Maharaj,” Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta organized a special party for Junaid and the film’s team. At the event, Aamir wore a classic white kurta while Reena opted for a traditional saree.
The celebration included appearances by Junaid’s co-stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Shalini Pandey, as well as Aamir’s nephew, actor Imran Khan, who attended with his partner, Lekha Washington.
Aamir Khan recently expressed his feelings about his son’s film during the launch of Raj Pandit’s debut single, “Kooriye.” Aamir admitted he was anxious about whether the audience would respond positively to Junaid’s work.
Reflecting on the experience, he said, “I was quite stressed about how people would receive Junaid’s performance. Just a few months ago, I was in that position.”
Aamir also conveyed his pride in Junaid’s achievements, emphasizing that his son reached this milestone through his own efforts, without relying on his father’s influence.
