Abbottabad: One person was stabbed in Changla Gali, in KPK,crowd kills suspect and torched private society office.
A knife assault in a gated estate in Abbottabad’s Changla Gali section killed one person and wounded another.
The family of the victim organized a rally following the incident; an angry mob torched the private society’s office after killing the supposed culprit in front of the police.
The police say a young man was fatally knifed inside the Changla Gali police station’s domain in Abbottabad by an unknown assailant, with another person hurt.
The wounded person was driven straight to the hospital for medical attention. The dead man was Imran Abbasi.
Suspect ran away from the crime scene, causing Imran Abbasi’s family to organize a fierce demonstration imploring his apprehension.
Enraged mob kills supposed murderer
Elsewhere in Changla Gali’s Simbar region, Abbottabad, a furious crowd seized and killed the supposed killer of the young guy.
With the police onhand, the mob assaulted the suspect and also set ablaze the office of the private society.
The police let the situation on edge spiral out of hand, unable to calm the fuming crowd. Protestors also prevented Murree and Abbottabad fire departments from getting to the site to put out the fire.
While the impetus for the killing is still unknown, the protesters called for the suspect to be arrested right away.
