Famous Pakistani stage actress, Ghazala Idris aka Nargis’s husband Majid Bashir gave his official statement, following the alleged domestic violence on Nargis.
As reported by private TV, Majid Bashir released his statement, “My wife is a virtuous woman, quarrels happen in every house, and our quarrel is our matter.” He added, “Nargis is still married to me, and some people are using this incident for character assassination, I will take legal action against them.”
Furthermore, the Punjab police completed the medical examination of the actress, and the medical report proved that the actress was tortured, and various marks were found on Nargis’s face, neck, and back.
Notably, the incident of abuse against actress Nargis occurred yesterday in Lahore’s Defense C area, leading to a case being filed against Majid Bashir at the Defense C police station.
The case includes charges of torture and threats of killing at gunpoint. Majid Bashir has not yet been arrested.
Previously, police received an official complaint from the actress or her family.
