Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz has warned the Iran Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei sternly, that his life may end up looking like that of a former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, who was toppled and hanged after the U.S led invasion in 2003.
Katz warned the Iranian dictator because of the ongoing war crimes, and firing missiles at Israeli civilians, according to the local media.
Iranian officials report having dozens of civilians killed since Israel started pounding them on Friday. Further Katz added that Khamenei must be reminded of the fate of the dictator of the neighbor country who had similar in approach against Israel.
He further stated that Israel would strike additional targets within Iran such as regime facilities and military sites within Tehran again pleading with people to abandon the Iranian capital.
Additionally, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have claimed responsibility for the killing of Major General Ali Shadmani, Iran’s wartime Chief of Staff and its most senior military commander, in a precision airstrike on central Tehran.
According to the IDF, the operation was based on accurate intelligence and marks the second targeted killing of a high-ranking Iranian military official within five days.
The foreign media reports has also confirmed that Chief of Staff of the Iranian military has been martyred. Military Commander Ali Shadmani, who was the head of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, was martyred in Tehran.
According to Arab media, Commander Shadmani was an Iranian high ranking military commander and one of the closest associates of the Iranian Supreme Leader. He has been appointed to the job just a few days ago when Commander Gholam Ali Rashid had been martyred by an Israeli attack.
After Rashid’s killing, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said that, in recognition of Major General Shadmani’s distinguished service and military expertise, he had appointed him Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH) Central Headquarters and conferred upon him the rank of Major General.
