Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman and former foreign minister has stated that founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan’s bail is his legal right and he has no issue with court granting it.

“We won’t fight the court’s decision to release the PTI founder on bail.

In an interview with British Sky News TV on Monday, Bilawal stated, “Bail is his right, and neither I nor my party will contest the decision.”

Every situation in Pakistan, he continued, must go through a legal process, and this issue is included in that process.

Bilawal also called India’s recent threats to shut off Pakistan’s water supply a breach of the UN Charter and a possible declaration of war, issuing a severe warning.

According to Bilawal, the likelihood of war between India and Pakistan, two neighbors that possess nuclear weapons, is at its greatest point in recent memory.

He underlined that although there is a ceasefire between the two nations along the Line of Control (LoC), real peace is still elusive.

“240 million Pakistanis’ lives are in danger because India is using water as a weapon,” Bilawal stated. “Such threats violate the UN Charter and international law in addition to being inhumane.”

Bilawal reaffirmed Pakistan’s long-standing stance, emphasizing that Islamabad supports communication and diplomacy.

He demanded thorough discussions with India on all significant topics, such as water rights, Kashmir, and terrorism.

Any attempt to unilaterally halt or suspend water flow under the Indus Waters Treaty will be viewed as an act of war, he said, adding that Pakistan is prepared to resolve any matter amicably.

The two nations’ water-sharing agreement is governed by the Indus Waters Treaty, which was mediated by the World Bank in 1960.

India cannot unilaterally discontinue or suspend this arrangement, Bilawal clarified.
