“I urge the ECP, the interim government, and the courts to facilitate the restoration of internet and mobile services in the country. It will impact voter turnout, coordination, and most importantly, the counting process as Returning Officers (ROs) and Presiding Officers (POs) will require seamless communication,†stated the PPP chairman.
Bilawal also highlighted that the flow of information would be hindered in case of any unfortunate incidents occurring anywhere.
Moreover, Bilawal urged the populace to exercise their voting rights as it shapes the future of the nation. When questioned about his party’s mandate, he expressed optimism, citing the significant turnout of voters on that day.
Earlier in the day, Bilawal expressed grave concerns regarding the suspension of internet and mobile services, announcing intentions to pursue legal action against the disruption.
He reiterated the potential impact on the flow of information in case of any untoward incidents. Additionally, Bilawal encouraged citizens to cast their votes, underlining its critical role in determining the country’s future. When asked about his party’s mandate, he expressed hope, given the substantial voter turnout witnessed during the day.
