Indian actress Celina Jaitley, known for her Bollywood films and beauty pageant success, shared a heartfelt message on social media about Ramadan.
Jaitly, a Hindu married to a Christian, has lived in Dubai for years and embraced the spirit of Ramadan. Her message highlighted the importance of compassion and togetherness during this holy month.
She expressed hope for peace and an end to war, especially for suffering children. She praised Dubai’s Ramadan community fridges, providing food and drinks to those in need during Iftar and Suhoor meals.
“May this Ramadan be a month of love, harmony, and blessings for you and your family. I pray that the children of this world find peace from conflict and war.
Ramadan became an important part of my life after living in #Dubai for so many years. Despite being a #Hindu and my husband a catholic Christian we always were invited as a family to so many beautiful evenings of IFTAAR at our Arabic friend’s homes. It was always about family coming together and enjoying an evening of delicious food and children running about the gardens as we sat under the desert moon.
One of my favourite things to do during Ramadan was to contribute across the emirate of Dubai to the Ramadan Sharing Fridges an endeavour encouraging the public to donate to one of the several fridges set up across the city for the poor since 2016.
Given how war-torn the world is also do think about donating your Zakat to organisations who can reach people most importantly children in war-torn countries.
I pay for peace and stability in the world Ramadan Kareem !!” she captioned the post.

Her message serves as a poignant reminder of the universal values of compassion, kindness, and solidarity that transcend religious boundaries, resonating deeply with people of all faiths and backgrounds.
Many fans also showered love and duas for her while others speculated whether she was Muslim or not.
