Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong has met with Pakistan Air Force Chief Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu during a visit to Air Headquarters on Monday, according to military’s media wing.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that both dignitaries had a thorough and in-depth conversation during the meeting about a variety of topics, such as defense cooperation, corporate-level engagements, and the changing geostrategic environment in the region.
According to the statement, they emphasized the necessity of maintaining maximum operational preparedness.
Also reiterated guaranteeing prompt coordination in the face of the current regional security dynamics, as well as the significance of unified and cooperative approaches in tackling new problems.
The illustrious visitor was cordially received by the Air Chief, who also reaffirmed that Pakistan and China have a long and enduring relationship based on trust, strategic alignment, and a shared desire for peace and stability in the region.
He referred to the long-standing bilateral relationship between China and Pakistan as “iron brothers,” stating that it has only been stronger over the years and will only get stronger through continued collaboration and partnership.
The Chief of the Air Staff conveyed his appreciation to the People’s Republic of China for its enduring friendship and assistance.
He also recognized China’s crucial contribution to Pakistan’s technological growth and defense modernization, especially in the areas of technology transfer, human resource development, and cooperative research and development.
