An official ceremony held at Chaklala Garrison in Rawalpindi on Tuesday celebrated the achievements of 47 outstanding individuals affiliated with the National Command Authority, who were recognized for their significant contributions to science and engineering in Pakistan’s strategic sector.
The event, organized on behalf of the President of Pakistan, was presided over by General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and Deputy Chairman of the Development Control Committee.
As per the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the honorees included scientists and engineers who have played pivotal roles in strengthening national capabilities.
Among the awards distributed, 10 individuals were decorated with the Sitara-e-Imtiaz, 21 received the President’s Pride of Performance, and 16 were granted the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in recognition of their dedicated service and excellence in their fields.
