The Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2025 delivered an unforgettable night filled with electrifying energy, international celebrities, and a celebration of the best anime of the year. Fans worldwide tuned in as the prestigious event streamed live from Japan at 6 PM JST on May 25, cementing its status as one of the most iconic evenings in anime history.

This year’s Crunchyroll Anime Awards raised the bar for excellence, spotlighting achievements in animation, music, direction, storytelling, and voice performance. Anticipation was high as global anime lovers waited to see which titles would triumph—and the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2025 winners did not disappoint.

Solo Leveling led the night, earning Anime of the Year, Best Score, and Best Main Character for Sung Jinwoo. The emotional and beautifully animated Look Back won Film of the Year, while Demon Slayer maintained its momentum with awards for Best Animation and Best Continuing Series for its Hashira Training Arc.

Keiichiro Saito was named Best Director for his outstanding work on Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, a standout series among both critics and fans.

The Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2025 winners also showcased a diverse range of genres and talents. Ninja Kamui was crowned Best Original Anime, while Blue Box secured the Best Romance Anime title. In the music category, Otokone by Creepy Nuts from Dan da Dan was awarded Best Anime Song, and Request by Krage won Best Ending Sequence.

New voices were recognized too, with Lohit Sharma winning Best Voice Actor (Hindi) for his powerful performance as Satoru Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2.

Additional awards included:

  • Mashle: Magic and Muscles – Best Comedy
  • Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! – Best Slice of Life Anime

A prestigious Global Impact Award was given to Attack on Titan, honoring its far-reaching influence across the anime industry and global fandom.

The star-studded event featured appearances from celebrities like J Balvin, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Kacey Musgraves, and Chloe Kim, adding Hollywood glamour to the celebration. They were joined by Japanese actor Dean Fujioka, Brazilian icon Pabllo Vittar, Italian singer Damiano David, and actress Mayu Matsuoka, emphasizing the event’s international reach.

With dazzling performances, star-studded presentations, and well-deserved victories, the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2025 proved once again that anime is a global cultural powerhouse—and the excitement is only growing.
