The horror film, Deemak, with all the right names and stars on board, starting with Sonya Hussyn, Faisal Qureshi, Javed Sheikh, Samina Peerzada, and Bushra Ansari is based on a family that becomes hunted by some super natural entity. The movie was the first screenplay by the author Ayesha Muzaffar and the third project as a director by Rafay Rashdi.
According to his interview, Rafay Rashdi (the director of Deemak) thought of Deemak four to five years ago. Being the enthusiast of the supernatural genre, he explained that he could not organize the work on the film immediately because of his other obligations. Rashdi was commendatory of Muzaffar who managed to breathe life in the story which focuses on household being ripped apart by strange episodes, distrust and claims of black magic.
