Vivo has been busy hyping the T3x 5G, a new low-cost phone for the Indian market. Given Vivo’s track record, it is probable that the phone will launch in several areas outside of India under a variety of cryptic names. With a whopping 6,000 mAh battery pack, the Vivo T3x 5G will be the thinnest phone with a battery that size, measuring just 7.99 mm in thickness.
Apart from that, Vivo has so far disclosed the phone’s design, CPU, color variations, RAM options, and even pricing. The Galaxy F15 5G and the Galaxy M15, the only two phones in India with 6,000 mAh batteries, will be in the same class as the T3x when it launches there for less than $180.
There are rumors that the next Moto G64 will also have a battery with a comparable capacity. Interestingly, it has been confirmed that the smartphone supports 33W fast charging, which is faster than the 25W fast charging capacity of the Samsung phones described earlier. Regarding Vivo’s T3x, information on its fast charging technology is still pending, although signs point to Vivo potentially adopting a quicker charging method.
The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, which the T3x will run on, will include 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Crimson Bliss and Celestial Green are the two color choices that will be offered. Since the phone is expected to start at $179, there will likely be a lesser capacity model. It will feature an 8 GB/128 GB memory combination and retail for about $203 in India. The RAM on this will probably be 6 GB.
The Vivo T3x 5G is launching on April 17.
