Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of the JUI, has clarified that his party opposes the prohibition of any political organization and called for the immediate resignation of the current administration.
During a press interaction in Khanpur, Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed regret over the recent developments in Islamabad, describing them as unfortunate.
He also pointed out the ambiguity surrounding the proposed 27th constitutional amendment, emphasizing the need for clarity.
Criticizing the governance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he claimed the province lacks an effective administration and rejected suggestions of banning political parties or enforcing Governor’s rule across the country.
In response to a query regarding Donald Trump’s potential role in releasing PTI’s founder, the JUI leader dismissed the notion, stating that such decisions should not fall under Trump’s purview.
He stressed that foreign interventions complicate Pakistan’s political dynamics and undermine local autonomy.
