Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that Field Marshal Asim Munir has held high-level meetings in Washington during US visit, tackling pressing regional and global concerns.

Field Marshal Munir reiterated that “Pakistan has remained on the frontlines in the global war against terrorism” and named regional actors who use terrorism as a tool of hybrid warfare.

“Pakistan has made immense human and economic sacrifices for a safer world,” he underlined.

The Army Chief also urged international partners to investigate prospects for mutual prosperity in Pakistan’s IT, agriculture, mining, and mineral sectors, highlighting their enormous but underutilized potential.

Field Marshal Munir expounded on Pakistan’s balanced approach to regional and global conflicts, highlighting the nation’s consistent and principled foreign policy.

“The only paths to lasting peace are diplomacy, negotiation, and adherence to international law,” he declared.

The Army Chief also reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to peaceful coexistence and emphasized the country’s proactive and accountable role in lowering regional tensions.

The ISPR came to the conclusion that attendees valued Field Marshal Munir’s realistic, transparent, and straightforward analysis of regional and global dynamics.
