COAS Field Marshal Gen Syed Asim Munir vowed that terrorists and their supporters would face relentless pursuit and be brought to justice.
Gen. Asim Munir reportedly visited the Corps Headquarters in Peshawar and was given a thorough briefing on the current state of security and ongoing counterterrorism efforts.
In honor of the security forces’ unwavering bravery and resolve, he also attended the funeral prayers for the fallen soldiers at Bannu Garrison.
The army chief paid a visit to wounded soldiers at the Combined Military Hospital in Bannu, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to General Munir, the security forces are bravely taking on Fitna-Al-Khawarij, a group supported by India.
He reaffirmed the Pakistani people’s commitment to the total elimination of terrorism.
In a previous speech at the commissioning parade of the 123rd Midshipman and 31st Short Service Commission Course at the Pakistan Naval Academy, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s determination to protect its national interests and sovereignty against regional threats.
The army chief praised the cadets’ remarkable discipline and enthusiasm, saying, “It is an honor for me to review the magnificent passing-out parade of our maritime warriors.”
“The Pakistan Naval Academy’s excellent training standards are reflected in the cadets’ self-assured manner today.”
Additionally, he gave special congratulations to the graduating cadets from friendly countries like Turkey, Bahrain, Iraq, Palestine, and Djibouti, and congratulated the award-winning cadets on their exceptional accomplishments.
