A first year student is kidnapped and gang raped by three three young men reportedly in Jhang, on Wednesday.

The victim was discovered unconscious and taken to Jhang DHQ Hospital. She was admitted in critical condition and is currently receiving medical care.

The girl’s mother filed an FIR under Section 375-A of the Pakistan Penal Code at the Satellite Town police station. In the complaint, she stated that her 17-year-old daughter was abducted by a named suspect and an unidentified accomplice. The two men allegedly took her to a house located on Faisalabad Road.

At the house, they were joined by a third unidentified individual. All three suspects reportedly sexually assaulted the girl. Her condition deteriorated severely during the assault.

The suspects eventually rushed her to DHQ Hospital when her health worsened. At the hospital, lady doctors examined her and confirmed that she had been gang-raped.

The investigation is underway, and the police are working to identify and arrest all involved suspects.
