Gilgit: Four school girls standing on the sidewalk were struck by a speeding car in the Basen region of Gilgit Baltistan.

Three of the sisters were sisters.

Reports support the idea that the three sisters died forthwith; the fourth girl is instead under medical treatment.

All four victims came with serious wounds, hospital authorities said.

Regrettably, the three siblings did not make it out of their injuries.

Abdul Jalil, who resides close by the school, had the dead girls for daughters.

They were about 10 to 12 in age.

Authorities have turned over their bodily to grieving relatives.

A sevenyear old girl still gets medicinal aid. After the crash, outraged residents burned the car in defiance.

The owner of the automobile fled once the police mentioned.

Law enforcement is pursuing the suspect with vigor.

The lack of sidewalks and speed bumps on Gilgit Ghizer Road is said by locals to be responsible for rising number of crashes.

They are asking for immediate construction of speed bumps close to schools.

Local residents think that this policy will go some way toward stopping future disasters.

Regular crashes have the community worried about safety.

The authorities are being advised to promptly deal with these risks.

Residents are mourning and furious over the terrible event.

Many people are demanding severe measures against careless drivers.

Agencies should work to enhance road safety.

Already, indifference to these problems has cost several innocent lives.

Parents worry about their children’s safety walking to school.

In high-hazard areas, the government ought to introduce more traffic rules.

Better road equipment can help stop repeat accidents. Victims’ families still call for justice from the community.

This tragic event underlines how urgently road safety laws are wanted.

To stop more loss of life, officials have to react quickly.
