The federal government has officially notified a revised gas pricing structure set to take effect from July 1 (Tuesday), introducing higher rates for select categories.
As per the new directive, the revised prices will impact bulk purchasers, power producers, and various industrial units.
Residential consumers will not face any change in their per-unit gas rates; however, their fixed monthly charges have been raised.
There will be no adjustment in tariffs for domestic users, tandoor operators, commercial businesses, general industries, CNG stations, as well as the cement and fertilizer industries.
