Heart attacks have grown alarmingly in Pakistan; 55% of disease deaths result from heart ailments, according to national media on Saturday.
More than half of disease deaths in Pakistan result from heart disease, according to recent studies. The CEO of DRAP dismissed the impression that heart attacks have risen due to the corona vaccine, but also cautioned against taking any minor ailment lightly.
CEO DRAP Dr. Obaidullah informed that there are some diseases that are silent killers. They include blood pressure and diabetes. Liver and kidney diseases emerge only when our organs are already damaged up to 90%. All these together lead to heart attacks.
A professor fainted while lecturing, which some people are attributing to the COVID vaccine, but this is not accurate.
Dr. Akhtar Bandesha, a cardiologist, explained that when a heart attack happens, it is of two kinds. One is that there is a pain within the chest, the individual is taken to the hospital.
The second is that rather than pausing, the heart begins fluttering, because of which the blood pressure plunges, the individual falls down, and after that, the heart is pumped with fists or a defibrillator, and it begins working again.
Experts say that by not consuming fatty foods and smoking, and taking exercise as a routine, heart attack can be avoided.
