Dwayne Johnson aka “The Rock,” a Hollywood actor and WWE Superstar, is rumored to have gotten 96,558 TKO (WWE’s Parent Company) shares in exchange for his recent comeback and the WrestleMania 40 plot. These shares are valued at around $9.41 million.
According to reports, The Rock got the shares in return for doing the tasks outlined in the January 2024 deal. The Rock participated on the first night of WrestleMania 40, teaming up with Roman Reigns to pin Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. It’s possible that he got compensated for his performance at “The Show of Shows” as part of his contract.
The wrestler was given many of his nicknames and The Rock’s trademark in January, along with a spot on TKO’s Board of Directors.
A singles match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40—which eventually turned into a tag match—was one of the terms of the agreement.
In an interview with Cody Rhodes on “WWE Raw” following WrestleMania 40, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson said that he would be taking a break from WWE for a time, but he also pledged to return, possibly hinting to a singles battle with “The American Nightmare” or a rivalry with Roman Reigns, the former WWE Champion.
