The incarcerated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman Imran Khan clarified that he would not have any give and take in any negotiations, but his doors are always open for talks with the establishment in the interest of the country.
Senator Ali Zafar, quoting Khan at a meeting at Adiala Jail during the hearing of the General Headquarters (GHQ) attack and other May 9 violence-related cases, remarked the former prime minister asserted that his doors are still open for negotiations with respect to the country’s interest. But Khan was insistent that if he were looking for personal relief, he would have done it a long time back.
When reacting to Aleema Khan’s recent remarks on the chance of give and take, Khan explained that if it will benefit the country, then he is ready for “give and take.” Nonetheless, his first demand is justice — he demands that the courts hear his legal cases promptly and fairly.
Zafar, quoting Khan, also said that the former prime minister declared they have already planned a protest movement and will provide a detailed action plan within the next five to six days.
Khan has instructed the party leadership to prepare for full participation in the movement, Zafar added.
In addition to this, Khan issued a warning against dual loyalties when he declared that he will not allow anyone to play both sides of the wicket.
