On Friday, India Deputy Army Chief Lieutenant General Rahul R. Singh stated that China and Turkiye were a great source of support to Pakistan in the recent conflict.
Addressing a top-level defense session steered by FICCI on New Age Military Technologies, the Indian Army Deputy Chief of Staff (Capability Development and Sustenance) said that Turkiye had provided Pakistani drones like Bayraktar TB2 in addition to other unattended aerial vehicles and skilled people on the ground.
This support, he added, involved sending of drones and military professionals. Singh says that this aid allowed Pakistan to properly know where positions of the Indian forces were on the ground.
He mentioned that modern battlefields were complicated by the adoption of advanced drone technology by the aggressors, and hence excellent enhancement of the Indian air defense systems was vital.
According to Singh, China gave direct intelligence assistance. He explained that through the joint efforts of Turkey and China, Pakistan was able to implement integrated C4ISR system, which regulates the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance that added capability to the battle recognition and coordination of Pakistan. He added: That is why we need to come up with our own C4ISR systems right now.
Elaborating on the changing environment of the threats, Singh mentioned that India was fighting with three enemies on a single border. Pakistan was on the front; China was doing everything in its capacity and Turkey was clear (he said).
According to the deputy COAS 81 percent of mil hardware in Pakistan was made by China and China had been operating Pakistan as a live testing lab.
