Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, and the Interior Secretary have named India’s proxy war campaign as “Fitna-e-Hindustan“.

In a joint press conference held in Islamabad, the DG ISPR and the Interior Secretary made serious allegations against India’s involvement in terrorism in Pakistan.

During the briefing, the Interior Secretary stated that initial investigations suggest that the recent attack in Khuzdar was carried out by Fitna-e-Hindustan. He claimed the attack in Balochistan was orchestrated under the patronage of India’s intelligence agency, RAW.

DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif said that arrested terrorists have revealed how Fitna-e-Hindustan carries out acts of terrorism inside Pakistan. He asserted that India has failed in its Operation Sandur and is now using terrorist proxies to conduct attacks in Balochistan.

The Interior Secretary added that the Government of Pakistan is determined to dismantle these networks and bring those responsible to justice. He warned that strong action will be taken against such acts of terrorism, and that Fitna-e-Hindustan has now started targeting soft civilian targets.

DG ISPR further claimed that Fitna-e-Hindustan has been killing innocent civilians in Balochistan since April 2024. Referring to a specific incident, he said that more than 30 civilians, including women and children, were killed in the Jaffer Express train attack on March 11. He questioned what evidence India had to justify its role in the attacks on May 6 and 7.

He also mentioned that Pakistan’s intelligence had prior information that India would activate its proxies Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna-e-Hindustan. Between May 6 and May 10, Fitna-e-Hindustan reportedly carried out 33 terrorist attacks.

The DG ISPR concluded by stating that the arrested terrorists have confessed to being backed by India. He accused India of trying to sabotage peace in the region, and claimed that the attacks carried out on May 21 were ordered by India through its proxy Fitna-e-Hindustan.
