A spy working with the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad has been executed by the Iranian government after the verdict was upheld by the authorities.
Even though the name of the executed person is not disclosed, it was confirmed by the authorities that the suspect had engaged in spies and other subversive acts on behalf of Israeli regime.
The execution, which followed a full criminal trial and the upholding of the verdict by Iran’s Supreme Court, underscores the growing covert conflict between Tehran and Tel Aviv.
Additionally, according to Sa al Mahnadi state TV news, the spokesperson on Police Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran, they arrested two Mossad agents in the Fashafuyeh in the Ray County in Tehran Province, on Sunday.
It is said that security personnel had confiscated more than 200 kilograms of explosives, 23 drone components, launchers, and other devices that were found with the suspects. In the operation a Nissan pickup truck was also impounded.
The previous day, 2 other suspected Mossad agents were arrested in the Savojbolagh County in the Alborz Province neighboring the capital region. Authorities think that the operators belonged to a bigger Israeli scheme to disconcert Iran with demolition cased drones.
Separately, Iranian media has claimed a missile strike on Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport. Meanwhile, the Israeli Air Force claims to have shot down several drones launched from Iran.
Earlier Iranian retaliatory missile attacks had caused devastation in cities including Tel Aviv, Haifa, Tamra, and Caesarea. Several buildings were reduced to rubble, with 14 people reportedly killed and over 300 injured.
The Iranian military has declared that they will leave no corner of Israel intact, urging Israeli settlers to immediately vacate the occupied territories.
