The burial of Iran’s top commanders and nuclear scientists martyred during the war with Israel will take place on Saturday.

According to media reports, 17 Iranian scientists have been martyred in Israeli attacks, along with several senior military commanders who were also targeted.

It is worth noting that when Israel launched its first strike on Iran on June 13, it specifically aimed at nuclear scientists and the leadership of the Iranian military.

In one of the latest attacks, another Iranian nuclear scientist was killed, bringing the total number of martyred scientists to 17.

Israel’s strikes were carried out with the intention of dismantling Iran’s nuclear program. In support of this objective, the United States also launched attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities, deploying B-2 bomber aircraft to drop bunker buster bombs.

Notably, President Donald Trump declared a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Iran on Tuesday, potentially marking the end of the 12-day conflict.

In a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump wrote, “CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE! A full and complete CEASEFIRE has been agreed upon by both Israel and Iran, to begin in approximately six hours after the completion of current operations. The ceasefire will last for 12 hours, after which the war will officially be over!”

Trump elaborated further, stating that Iran would initiate the ceasefire, and Israel would follow 12 hours later, officially concluding the hostilities after 24 hours. He added that both sides are expected to maintain mutual respect and peace during the ceasefire window.

“Assuming all goes as planned—and it will—congratulations are in order for both nations for showing courage, endurance, and wisdom in ending what I now call ‘The 12-Day War’. This is really a great day for the world,” Trump wrote.

Trump hailed the outcome as a major diplomatic success, claiming it prevented what could have become a long, devastating conflict in the Middle East.
