In a resolute public statement shared via social media, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei underscored the nation’s unyielding spirit, asserting that Iran’s past proves its people “never bow to external pressures.”
The message was delivered at a time when hostilities in the Middle East are intensifying, particularly following Israel’s recent military actions. Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi weighed in, clarifying that Tehran had not instigated the confrontation. “The aggression was initiated by Israel, not by us,” he noted.
Araghchi went on to commend Iran’s military response, describing it as swift and uncompromising. “Our courageous defense forces have dealt firm blows to the Zionist regime and will not hesitate to continue doing so,” he remarked, adding that Iranian troops have met every offensive with equal force and will defend the nation to the last breath.
High-ranking officials in Tehran have also conveyed their heartfelt appreciation to the armed forces for their commitment and resilience, emphasizing that Iran will continue to stand firm in the face of foreign aggression.
