In a statement broadcast on television, Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei declared that Iran will not yield to Donald Trump’s call for unconditional surrender.
“Intelligent people who know Iran, the Iranian nation, and its history will never speak to this nation in threatening language because the Iranian nation will not surrender,” Khamenei said in his first speech since Friday, when he gave a speech that was aired on state media following Israel’s bombardment of Iran.
“The Americans should know that any U.S. military intervention will undoubtedly be accompanied by irreparable damage,” he added.
