Internet issues still persist in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, creating challenges for internet users in the twin cities.
Residents of the twin cities have reported that authorities have not fully restored internet services even after the end of the protests of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf. They also mentioned that they are facing difficulties with browsing, downloading, and accessing social media platforms, which remain slow despite using VPN.
Previously authorities have shut down the internet services in twin cities amid the PTI protest. Law enforcement agencies had sealed the areas by putting hurdles in all the exit and entry points of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. However officials have lifted these obstacles yesterday while internet services have yet to be fully restored.
Facing this network error the internet users are frustrated with the situation as they are finding difficulty to complete their projects with strict deadlines.
However, officials have not yet provided a timeline or explanation for the network issues. This has added to the frustration of residents in the twin cities.
