Security personnel killed seven reported terrorists in two operations on Tuesday in restive Balochistan’s Kalat and Kachhi district.
In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations said security personnel conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Mach general area of district Kachhi on reported presence of “Fitna-al Hindustan” terrorists.
“Inside the operation, our troops successfully targeted the terrorists’ hideout, and after a fierce exchange of fire, pushed five Indian funded terrorists into hell,” it added.
In yet another IBO in the Margand general area of Kalat district, security forces raided a hideout and neutralized two terrorists. They also recovered weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the site. According to the ISPR, the terrorists were directly involved in various terrorist activities.
The military’s media wing stated that security agencies remain committed to eradicating the threat of Indian-sponsored terrorism from the nation.
They also reiterated the country’s unflinching commitment to taking the perpetrators of Indian sponsored terrorism and their supporters before the law.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces on the successful operations. In their individual statements, they appreciated the professional efficiency of the forces.
“India, at its behest, is disseminating terrorism in Pakistan,” said the president. He vowed to pursue actions against terrorists until their total eradication.
PM Shehbaz asserted that the whole nation stands hand in hand with the armed forces to thwart the evil plans of Fitna-al Hindustan.
He added that Fitna-al Hindustan, under India’s patronage, is actively fomenting terrorism in Balochistan.
