Pakistani actress Mahira Khan and writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar appeared to have buried the hatchet, ending their rift.
Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar has said in public that he has forgiven all of his previous grievances in response to Mahira Khan’s recent acknowledgment of fault.
Qamar recently talked openly about his previous spat with Mahira Khan on a private podcast. He disclosed that in response to her remarks, he had even written her a private message.
He claimed that when Mahira appeared on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast, she acknowledged that tweeting rather than reaching out to him directly was a mistake.
“Mahira and I have always had a lot of respect for each other,” Qamar stated.
Our friendship was such that if I said something that hurt her, she could have just called me.
“Mahira is and always will be my all-time favorite.” Even when I was critical of her, it hurt.
