Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) organized a core committee meeting at the Chief Minister’s KPK House in Peshawar. Many important decisions are expected to be taken by this committee.
Reports indicate that an emergency session of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has been scheduled for 9 PM tonight.
Meanwhile, during the core committee meeting, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) decided to visit the families of those who lost their lives or were injured during the protests to offer condolences and support.
According to a correspondent, the meeting is attended by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, Barrister Gauhar, Salman Akram Raja, Faisal Javed, Sheikh Waqas, and Meena Khan.
It should be noted that in the federal cabinet meeting yesterday, members supported the imposition of the Governor’s rule in KPK Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In addition, differences in the PTI intensified due to the failure of the protest. After PTI leader Salman Akram Raja announced his resignation from the post of Secretary General, Sahibzada Hamid Raza resigned from the PTI Core Committee.
