Lahore has breathed a sigh of relief as the conjunct fury of torrential rain and strong winds has come to an end.
Official records show that Nishtar Town received the most rainfall, with 25 millimeters falling there. Rainfall at the airport totaled 20 millimeters.
In Mughalpura and Pani Wala Talab, 18 millimetres of rain was recorded. Firdous Market reported 23 millimetres, while Tajpura recorded 20 millimetres.
Lakshmi Chowk received 16 millimetres of rainfall. Upper Mall recorded 13 millimetres, and WASA Head Office in Gulberg reported 12 millimetres.
In Iqbal Town, rainfall reached 11 millimetres; Samanabad received 9 millimetres, and Johar Town registered 6 millimetres.
Jail Road recorded 5.2 millimetres, and Qurtaba Chowk received 4 millimetres of rainfall.
According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), the average rainfall across Lahore was measured at 13.6 millimetres.
