Lahore witnessed a terrible event, when a house painter ruthlessly took the lives of two women for stealing cell phone.
First the suspect knocked them out with a weighty thing before killing them by means of electrocution.
The police acted quickly, apprehended the killer, and started a probe of the incident.
In the Harbanspura area of Lahore, the painter brutally murdered Shakeela Fazilat, a widow living in the area where the incident occurred.
The enquiry showed that the suspect had intended to steal the precious cell phone and therefore plotted the assassination.
Lahore SSP Investigation Muhammad Naveed says the suspect, Azeem, discovered the mobile phone while painting at the victim’s house and realized he needed to murder her to get it.
First he whacked the head of the woman violently, knocking her unconscious, then he killed her by electric shock.
The police provided more information saying the suspect ran off with a sack of rice from the victim’s house after killing.
The suspect from his home was apprehended and both the cellphone and the stolen rice bag were retrieved, on the other side the authorities acted quickly.
Azeem was found to have drawn the victim into the bathroom during the ongoing inquiry and electrocuted her.
Officials are still investigating to make sure the suspect was not connected in any other criminal activity so justice is served.
