Popular television actress Laiba Khan has hinted at stepping away from the entertainment industry, revealing her desire to settle down and get married.
Appearing on ARY Digital’s Eid special of Good Morning Pakistan, the Muqaddar ka Sitara actress candidly shared thoughts about her future. While expressing appreciation for her acting journey so far, she admitted she may be ready to call it a day.
“I’ve worked consistently, and now I feel like I’ve done enough,” Khan shared during the segment. “Though I didn’t get the chance to collaborate with some of the top names, I think I’m satisfied with what I’ve done. Maybe it’s time to leave the spotlight behind.”
With a hint of humour, she added, “I’ve talked about marriage so often, it feels like I’ve jinxed it! It’s still nowhere in sight.”
Khan also took the opportunity to describe what she looks for in a life partner. For her, mutual respect and emotional support are more important than appearance.
“I’m not concerned with physical traits like being bald or heavyset. I just don’t want someone obsessed with the gym,” she explained. “What truly matters is that he should listen, understand, and be involved in both our lives — mine and his. Communication and support come first.”
