His comments drew backlash from the YouTube community, including a strong response from content creator Rajab Butt, who expressed disappointment in Fahad’s remarks and questioned the respect shown by senior artists.

Addressing the controversy, Iffat emphasized the importance of evolving with time. She stated that everyone has the right to seek fame through the platform of their choice and that there shouldn’t be judgment over how people pursue success.
Speaking directly about Fahad, Iffat said, “You are the highest-paid actor in Pakistan. There’s no need to compete or compare based on money. You’re already a star of Pakistan entertainment industry. Rather than criticizing others, just embrace your place in the industry. Live and let live.”
She further highlighted the importance of mutual respect across different creative fields and the need for unity rather than division within the entertainment industry.
