The Pakistani movie has earned a total of 266,000 pounds (more than 10 crores of Pakistani rupees) in nine days only.
There have been fans that have been celebrating the success of love Guru online. A Web site scribe who went to watch the Love Guru commented on it by saying, “Just went to see love guru a couple days ago–it was definitely worth it!.” The other one said, “It is a great film. I loved all of that.”
The film got critical appreciations as a family film, devoid of obscene scenes, and was readily compared on a positive scale to what is usually offered in Bollywood.
However, there were those who disagreed with the comparison. One fan posted, “It can not be compared to a movie with Akshay Kumar because he makes 24 movies in a year.” Some questioned the box office figures altogether, saying, “Let us be real”. A film in Pakistan toppling Bollywood? I do not believe in it.”
