After repeatedly breaking into the Peshawar home of well-known Pashto singer Gul Panra, a man was taken into custody on Monday.
Details indicate that the culprit, known as Abdullah, was taken into custody following his third visitation to Gul Panra’s home.
On the basis of a complaint by the singer’s brother Saddam Hussain, police opened a case against the stalker.
According to a police officer, Abdullah was twice detained for breaking into Panra’s home, but he was later freed after being warned not to trust the suspect’s brothers.
On Monday, however, Gul Panra’s brother filed a complaint after the suspect allegedly threatened the family members when they stopped him when he attempted to enter their home.
