Recently Maria B, whos is strong opponent of homosexuality, shared a video on Instagram. In the video Maria openly expressed her views on the recent Aurat March held in Lahore.
On February 12, Aurat March was held in Lahore on the occasion of National Women’s Day. In this March not just women but also members of minority gender groups participated.
Commenting on recently held march, Maria presented her opposing views in a recent video.
“I did not get the logic of this march. It seems to me that some miscreants are doing is for sake of some agenda”, Maria said.
Maria B called the March a ‘fail march’, as she said that people have rejected it.
“It was a march of “unsuccessful women” who expressed hatred toward successful women. And the people have strongly rejected this stance”, Maria added.
Referring to the criticism and placards against herself and actress Mishi Khan at the march, Maria B said that the behavior of the participants reflected their upbringing.
She added that the people of Pakistan had already rejected Aurat March years ago, but the organizers still hadn’t realized it.
Criticizing the organizers, she remarked, “We have understood that you people are being paid and funded to work on a specific agenda.”
She stated that Pakistani women aspire to be independent and successful while following Islamic principles.
Commenting on Maria B’s video, Mishi Khan said, “Thank you, Maria B, you gave them a perfect response.”
