Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the chief minister of Punjab, has broken records with her “Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar” program. This is the first time in Punjab’s history that so many houses have been built in such a short period of time.
At a special meeting chaired by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the acquisition and recovery of loans under the “Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar” Program were thoroughly reviewed.
The idea of adding more commercial banks has been discussed at the conference due to popular interest.
The briefing told the meeting that in just five months, 28,219 families had gotten interest-free loans of Rs 30 billion.
Under the “Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar” initiative, around 23,500 homes are nearing construction.
The Chief Minister gave the order to expedite the loan application procedure under the housing initiative.
She gave the order to build as many homes as possible under the this initiative, no matter what.
“It is necessary to remove obstacles in the loan distribution process under the ‘Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar’ Program,” she stated.
In the past five years, no administration has been able to construct as many homes as they have in the last five months.
“Serving the people is our clear vision,” she continued.
“We are working to offer homeless people with shelter in accordance with Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’s vision,” CM added.
