Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz said what happened on May 9 not very different from things India did.
While talking to students in Sargodha, Maryam compared protecting mind to keeping laptops safe from virus. She said mind also needs guard from “political virus.”
Taking aim at PTI, she said what took place on May 9 was no small thing. “You can disagree with someone, but on that day, army buildings were attacked, set on fire,” she said. “Same places got targeted that our enemy couldn’t even touch for years.”
She added that some people were tricked into actions which no less than terrorism. Their real aim was army. One of damaged places had history – it brought down five enemy planes in past.
CM told youth not to be used for unrest. “Don’t raise voice against own country, don’t damage it, don’t go against homeland. Be strong wall for your nation,” she said.
