The Sindh High Court on Tuesday ordered probe into the MDCAT 2024 paper leak after the students approached it with a plea.
The leaders from the Young Doctors Association, including Dr. Mehboob Noori, also attended the court in support of the students.
The petitioners said that, similar to last year, this time the MDCAT paper was leaked before the scheduled time and was sold for millions of rupees.
They submitted that once again, injustice is being done to the talented students of Sindh. They argued that the leak undermined the merit. They asked the court to order an inquiry into the paper leak.
The petitioners also asked the court that legal action be taken against those involved in the leak.
They asked the court to suspend the Vice Chancellor of Dow Medical University until the inquiry is completed, and for the results to be withheld until the investigation concludes.
