Microsoft on Sunday announced its move to release a new handheld gaming console ROG Xbox Ally.
Although Microsoft kept silent about the prices, it assured that the gaming console would come in two types: the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X.
The firm officially announced that it would release the portable gaming console this holiday season.
According to the description, “The Xbox Ally provides excellent value for anyone seeking to enjoy their favorite games wherever they desire to play, whether it’s Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Gears of War: Reloaded, Lies of P, South of Midnight, or numerous others.
The AMD Ryzen Z2 A Processor powers the device, balancing performance and power consumption to optimize battery life without compromising gameplay quality. It also includes 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage.
As Microsoft states, the gaming console “also includes impulse triggers for more engaging play.”
Furthermore, the consoles will be Windows 11-running, and both models include a charging stand.
In the meantime, Microsoft stated that details regarding pricing, pre-orders, accessories, and so on will be made available shortly.
The firm intends to roll out ROG Xbox Ally across Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and, the US.
