Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to depart for London tomorrow, according to sources.
During his visit, the former prime minister will have a medical examination, according to information released on Saturday.
It is also planned that the PML-N chief will celebrate Eid-ul-Azha in London.
Separately, earlier this month, Nawaz had thanked and commended Pakistan’s military and leadership after US President Donald Trump announced a complete truce between India and Pakistan.
“Thanks be to Allah that this has raised Pakistan’s standing,” the former premier wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “I commend and congratulate the Pakistan Armed Forces, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, and Chief of Air Staff Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu.”
