The New Zealand cricket squad landed in Islamabad early on Sunday morning in preparation for their Twenty20 International Series against Pakistan, which is scheduled to start on April 18.
The five-match series between the hosts, led by Michael Bracewell, and the Men in Green will see three games played in Rawalpindi and the other two in Lahore. The series will conclude on April 27.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) revealed the match officials for the next series one day earlier. Aleem Dar, Asif Yaqoob, Faisal Afridi, and Rashid Riaz make up the panel headed by Andy Pycroft, a member of the Emirates International Cricket Council (ICC) elite panel of match referees.
The board revealed the highly anticipated 17-man Babar-Azam-led team for the Twenty20 Internationals on April 9. Pacer Muhammad Amir and all-rounder Imad Wasim are returning to the national team.
Due to their outstanding performances in the recently finished Pakistan Super League (PSL 9), Usman Khan and Muhammad Irfan Khan are also expected to make their Green Shirts debuts during the series.
