Renowned morning show host Nida Yasir has recently shared that a memorable scene from the acclaimed drama Jannat Se Aagay reflects a personal experience from her own life.
The drama, featuring Kubra Khan and Ramsha Khan in lead roles, explored the emotional and ethical challenges faced by a woman striving to build a successful career as a morning show host.
It highlighted how fame and perceived glamour could influence and shape others’ perceptions.
One particular scene showed the character Jannat discovering that her domestic help and assistant had been stealing from her home. She later visits the assistant’s residence and retrieves numerous stolen belongings.
Nida Yasir disclosed that this storyline was actually inspired by her own life. She recounted hiring a Filipino housemaid during her early motherhood days, while balancing her professional responsibilities.
Over time, Nida noticed items disappearing from her home. Upon investigating, she found that the maid had taken three suitcases full of her possessions.
Nida personally went to recover the stolen items—an experience that was later dramatized in the series.
