Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) confirmed Saturday that Indian jets targeted three Pakistani airbases — Nur Khan, Shorkot, and Murid.
In a brief statement, the DG ISPR said Indian forces also launched missiles and drones towards Afghanistan.
“India must now wait for our response,†he warned, indicating a potential escalation in regional tensions.
However, the attack on Nur Khan air base and Shorkot airbase has been intercepted.
Further details on casualties or damage have not yet been shared.
He also revealed that India also fired missiles in Afghanistan.
DG ISPR further said that Pakistan has intercepted almost every missile that India hit on our airbases and cities. The ones that sneaked in did no damage. He assured the nation that the armed forces of Pakistan are vigilant and will respond to India strongly very soon.
