After the successful launch of Satellite ICUBE Qamar, Radio Pakistan stated that Pakistan’s newest contemporary communication satellite, MM1, is scheduled to be launched into orbit on Thursday, May 30.

Launching from China’s Xichang Satellite Launch Center (XSLC) will be the satellite, PAKSAT MM1.

The SUPARCO MM1 satellite, according to the state-run broadcaster, is the product of the relentless efforts of Pakistani scientists and engineers and was designed with the nation’s expanding demands in the wide range of connection and communication in mind.

SUPARCO officials said that by bringing internet to rural locations, the satellite would assist Pakistan enter the digital age.

PakSat MM1 M Imran, the project director, stated: “Our team is very enthusiastic for the forthcoming launch of PakSat MM1 on May 30.”

PakSat MM1, which is based on cutting-edge communication technology, would prove to be a significant step towards the country’s socioeconomic development and its transition into “Digital Pakistan”.

The media will be able to watch the launch event live from Suparco’s locations in Karachi and Islamabad.

The satellite’s superior capabilities will fulfill the growing need for high-speed internet and seamless connection. It is anticipated that the satellite will aid in the creation of a sophisticated communication network and assist meet the expanding demands of the telecom sector.

SUPARCO stated that “This high-power multi-mission satellite will offer communication services in C, Ku, Ka Bands and SBAS services in L Band.”

PakSat-MM1, which is based on cutting-edge communication technology, will be essential to the nation’s socioeconomic development, according to the agency.

It will show to be a significant milestone in the nation’s evolution into Digital Pakistan. It will offer a range of communication services, including VSAT connectivity, mobile bank hauling, TV broadcasting, and broadband internet.”
