Gold prices in Pakistan and worldwide drop for fifth straight session, continuing downward trend.
The gold prices of 24-karat per tola dropped by Rs1,595 on Friday to Rs357,000, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
In a similar vein, 10 grams of gold now cost Rs306,069 after falling Rs1,368.
Minor adjustments were also made to the global gold market, as the price of gold per ounce dropped by $16 to $3,356.
Pakistan’s silver prices also kept falling; a tola of 24-karat silver cost Rs24 less to reach Rs3,796, and 10 grams of silver cost Rs3,254.
