Pakistan downed at least 12 Indian drones across the country, with at least one of them hitting a target in Lahore and wounding four military officer, DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif told on Thursday.
One of the drone explosions in Sindh resulted in a Pakistani citizen being killed.
During a Thursday noon press conference, Lt. Gen Sharif reported that India made an aggressive drone attack on May 7–8 night in a move of aggression, trespassing into Pakistan’s airspace.

Lt. Gen Sharif reported that the Pakistan Armed Forces effectively repelled 12 aggressive drones in several areas including Lahore, Gujranwala, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Attock, Bahawalpur, Miano, Chhor (Sindh), and Karachi.
Security forces have collected the debris of crashed drones from several locations, reflecting the extensive spread of the breach. They brought down one of the drones through a direct armed operation.

The Indian military’s provocative actions are a pattern of dangerous escalation,” Gen. Sharif said, adding that such acts, including targeting civilians and old women, demonstrate that “India has apparently lost its plot.”
He reiterated that the Pakistan Armed Forces are on high alert and ready to defend the country against any further aggression.
He concluded by calling upon the international community to take serious notice of India’s destabilizing act in an already charged regional environment and restating that updates will be provided as the situation unfolds.
