Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif again affirmed that Pakistan is ready to engage in positive dialogues with India on all outstanding issues such as Jammu and Kashmir, water, trade, and terrorism.

He expressed these views through a telephonic call with Saudi Arabia Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Tuesday.

The Prime Minister expressed the deepest appreciation for the Kingdom’s unwavering support for Pakistan during the latest standoff with India.

The two leaders also shared their perspective on the fast-changing Middle East situation. On this, the Prime Minister stated that Pakistan unequivocally endorsed the immediate de-escalation of Iran-Israel tensions as well as its peaceful settlement through dialogue and diplomacy.

In their warmest and most friendly dialogue, the Prime Minister expressed his warm regards and deepest respects to The Custodian of the two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Shehbaz Sharif warmly congratulated His Royal Highness on the successful accomplishment of Hajj this year and appreciated the Kingdom for extending warm hospitality to Pakistani pilgrims.

The Prime Minister expressed profound gratitude to His Royal Highness for his wise leadership and excellent endeavors towards bringing peace in the region.

This, he said, is an indication of the Kingdom’s extraordinary status as a peacemaker at the global arena, as well as its leadership of the Ummah.

For his part, the Crown Prince expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for the phone call and valued Pakistan’s solidarity and support for the Kingdom.

Mohammed bin Salman thanked Pakistan for its positive role towards achieving a peaceful solution to the Iran-Israel conflict. He stated that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is committed to all efforts toward achieving permanent peace and stability in the region.
